Flowers by the Station is striving to raise a minimum of
$1,000 for Ukrainian Aid.

 

We invite you to participate in our effort to support the people of Ukraine through our Sunflowers for Ukraine fundraiser. We are extremely inspired by the strength and courage of the Ukrainian people.  And we are very saddened by the violence and suffering in the country due to the Russian military invasion.

We wanted to show our support but we struggled to find a way we could help. Then we were inspired by the sunflower.

 

Why Sunflowers?

Sunflowers are the national flower of Ukraine. Ukraine is also the world’s largest producer and exporter of sunflower seeds and sunflower oil. Since Russia invaded the Ukraine, sunflowers has become a global symbol of resistance, unity and hope.

Therefore we will be selling wrapped bunches of sunflowers to show solidarity and raise money to assist the Ukrainian people.  For every bunch of sunflowers sold between Sunday 3/6 and Saturday 3/12 we will be donating a portion of the proceed to the nonprofit organization Sunflower of Peace Foundation in Boston.

1. Purchase a Sunflower Wrapped Bunch
   • 3 Sunflower Wrapped Bunch for $27.95 and we’ll donate $5.00
   • 6 Sunflower Wrapped Bunch for $44.95 and we’ll donate $15.00
   • 12 Sunflower Wrapped Bunch for $79.95 and we’ll donate $35.00
2. Schedule Pickup or Delivery
   • Wednesday, 3/16, Thursday, 3/17 and Friday 3/18
   • Pickup at Flowers by the Station, 73 Union St, Attleboro, MA 02703 between 9AM and 5PM
   • Local delivery available for an additional fee

About Sunflower of Peace Foundation in Boston

Sunflower of Peace is a USA-based 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization (EIN: 47-2620675). Our goal is to raise. They started a new fundraiser to provide medical and humanitarian aid that will be used by the paramedics and doctors in the areas that are affected by the violence in Ukraine. They acquire and distribute first-aid backpacks, medicine, medical instruments, and other means of survival that are saving hundreds of lives. These supplies meant the world to people affected by violence when we started our first fundraiser in 2015, and they mean the world to all Ukrainians now.
